The Hell on Wheels is a Canadian/ United States of America Western railroad television Module about the first construction transcontinental railroad in the United States of America which aired in America/Canada on the cable channel AMC from 6 Nov 2011 to 23 July 2012.
The series also stars Colm Meaney, Anson Mount, Common and Dominic McElligott, the Union Pacific Railroad, and its workers, prostitutes, surveyors and mercenaries, others who lived and worked in the mobile camp and died together. It is their history called “Hell on Wheels”, which followed the railhead west of the Great Plains.

this story, in particular, is about Mount a former Confederate soldier who initially joins the railroads to track down the Union who murdered his wife and son during the American Civil War. Thus he becomes a foreman and chief engineer on the railroad.
The series was produced by Joe Tony Guyton and developed by Endemol USA under senior vice president leadership and is produced by Entertainment One Pictures. AMC announced the Gaayton was no longer involved in the day-by-day production of the series.
